The premium Evaluation cost is $1,000 and takes approximately 1.5 hours to complete. The first portion of the evaluation is centered around gathering personal information, injury history, mechanism of injury, and any other subjective information we can gather. The second part consists of hands on evaluation of joints and tissues as well as movement assessments in standing and various positions on the treatment table. The final portion consists of treatment of the injury with modalities and/or corrective exercises. If not injured an exercise prescription will be prescribed to prevent injury and maximize performance.

The thing that sets this assessment apart from the rest is the primitive and postural reflex retention and integration assessment that is conducted. Reflexes are involuntary actions that your body does in response to something without you even having to think about it. Yes, these can be diminished and yes we can train them! Imagine training something that processes faster in your brain than you can event think about? Now that's the highest level of training in existence!

The Standard Evaluation cost is $800 and takes approximately 50 minutes to complete. The first portion of the assessment will consist of gathering personal information, a past medical history, and learning about the mechanism of injury. The second part will consist of hands on assessment of the injured site as well as the joints above and below to uncover the cause of the problem. The final portion is treatment of the injured site and 2-3 exercises to start working on at home.

The Standard Evaluation is unique because not only will the injured or dysfunctional site be treated, but there will be significant time taken to assess the whole body to reveal the cause of the problem that we will be targeting in the rehab or functional training.

The Basic Evaluation cost is $500 and takes approximately 40 minutes to complete. The first portion of the assessment will consist of gathering personal information and a brief medical history of past injuries. The second portion will consist of a Functional Movement Screen (7 movements) and if necessary some hands on assessments may also be included based on how the individual performs on the movement screen. The last portion consists of an customized exercise prescription to address problems found in the movement screen. With this information we can design a functional training program.

If pain is noted during the movement screen, we will recommend moving up to the Standard Evaluation to assess and treat the injury.

Also, an option for the "community package" can be used to receive this evaluation and begin functional training. For questions email info@baysportmed.com.
